Though, many things were removed from the main story as well, I can point out that I disliked the way the animators cut off how Junpei Like the other 2 movies, we won't see any Social Link, or supporting characters back story, which isn't a big deal regarding the plot. Unfortunately, it's very likely we will have to wait until October to watch the fourth and final movie: Winter of Rebirth, while it's already released in Japan.īut I'll stop complaining and review this movie.įor an Atlus adaptation from videogame to anime movie, many things must be omitted. This movie also develops Junpei's character arc to make him a more fleshed out character, which is nice considering that he's my favourite character from the original game.įortunately, this movie has just been released online. His main development within this movie is regarding his priceless interactions with the main protagonist, who is emotionally distant from people after the events of the second movie. A character who will be especially important in the 4th movie. I mentioned earlier that this movie has a focus on the new character of Ryoji. I especially think that the ending credits song was fitting, and Lotus Juice does an outstanding job as always. The music in this movie is also splendid, and always adds to the tension or emotion.

There really isn't much else to say in this regard.

Understand by now that this movie series has good animation. The movie does end on a cliffhanger, but it isn't a real problem for me, since it only invigorates interest in the 4th movie.

It makes up for the fast pacing by putting a lot of emphasis on the new character of Ryoji, who I'll get to in a second. unfortunately, the pacing of the movie suffers this, especially since it's the shortest movie in the persona 3 movie series. The third installment in the Persona 3 movie tetralogy has a difficult job of juggling multiple moving parts within the story, which is justifiably tough. COGITO ERGO SUM - I think, therefore I am.
